Transitional Home

We are currently raising funds to put a new roof on an elementary school
which will be used as a transition home for displaced orphans in Ukraine
that are required to leave the orphanage at age 16. This home will provide
a safe and nurturing environment while they learn life skills and attend
a trade school. If you would like to be a part of this exciting mission,
you can help by prayer, monetary support and future mission work.

There are pictures of our new transition home. This building was a former
Soviet Union Elementary School that has fallen into disrepair from years of
neglect. We have partnered with a Christian pastor who has been given the
rights to use this building to house displaced orphans and street children. He
has remodeled part of the school, and it can currently hold approx 20 children.
Once the entire school has been repaired, it should hold 500+ children. We
will provide a Christian home environment for these children where they will
learn about the love of Jesus Christ as well as what it means to be part of a
family. Our goal for this home is to provide these "throw away children" with a
sense of self worth, a sense of value, as Christians and as productive members
of society. We will teach them skills they will need to find jobs and to become
self-sufficient in a country that doesn't care if they live or not.
